Fun on the farm in the fall

Jodi and I took Davin and Kelci to Black Island Farms in Syracuse as a fun fall time activity. There was so much to do and we had a lot of fun.
First we went to the petting zoo. Kelci jumped right in and started feeding the animals. She wasn't scared at all.

Davin on the other hand was terrified. He screamed when he saw a llama walking toward him.

                                                                              I loved this.
Next we walked over to the tire swings that were cut into different designs. Davin chose the dragon. Well, I think it was a dragon.

                                                                     Jodi wanted a ride too.
Davin is a brave little boy. He climbed all the way to the top of the slide and slid down his self.
He didn't want to slide with Jodi...
So she went down by her self.
Kelci didn't care much for the slide so she stayed with me.
Davin did want to go down the tunnel slide with Jodi cause in his words "It's scary."
It was a big black tube that was about 50 yds. long. Or longer.

Next we walked over to a the barrel train. They had painted water barrels to look like cows and pigs and  pulled them around with a 4-wheeler.

Poor Kelci. She hated it so much that she tried to get off while the were going

Davin absolutely loved it. He rode around 4 times before I pulled him off. He would have rode it all night if I would have let him.
The kids played in a sandbox filled with corn,
Ran through tunnels,
Played on the teeter totters,
And, enjoyed cookies and cider.

It was a fun way to start Fall. The season I love the most. Thanks Jodi for getting us tickets. Hope we can go again next year.
